Episode 1: From a small town to the Oklahoma Governor’s office with Mary Fallin

Marilyn and Dana talk with former governor of Oklahoma, Mary Fallin, on what it was like to start as a small town girl and become a member of Congress, Lt. Governor, and Governor of Oklahoma. They also talk about what life after being Governor entails, from board positions to RV trips.

Mary worked in the hotel management business prior to being elected to her first office as a State Representative at 35 years old. She was never defeated while running for public office serving 28 years total.  

Mary is officially retired from-

Governor of Oklahoma 2011- 2019 - first and only woman 
US Congress 2007-2011 - second woman from Oklahoma.
Lieutenant Governor 1995-2006 - first woman.
